Roser remains Roser!
Long-term prepared and well planned, the previous managing director Andreas Manger hands over the management of Roser AG in Birsfelden/BL into proven hands. Tobias Scherg, who continues to be responsible for the veneer division, takes over the management of the entire company. Together with Patrick Altherr, who is in charge of the Wood-Based Panels Division, and Victor Jung as Head of Finance and Accounting, they form the Executive Board, which is responsible for the operational development of Roser AG.
As Chairman of the Board of Directors, Andreas Manger concentrates on the strategic orientation of Roser AG. He has steered the fortunes of Roser AG for almost 15 years as a timber trading professional. "In the difficult Corona year, Tobias Scherg, Patrick Altherr and Victor Jung have absolutely proven themselves as members of the management team. They have managed and further developed the company with foresight and a great deal of tact," explains Manger.

Roser is thus taking great strides in breaking new ground into the digital future. Together with four other Swiss trading companies, Roser operates the "myholz.ch" label, which is the largest e-shop in the Swiss wood industry with over 23,000 products.
As a veneer producer and partner of craftsmen and planners, Roser connects the different players and offers active support for the success of various objects with intelligent products and services. The successful "Veneer Express" with the fleece-laminated and large-format veneers as a joined fixed measure and the unique concept.room, in which many globally acclaimed projects have already been materialized, are well established.
With "myholz.ch", the next logical step into digital networking and the Internet follows at Roser AG. "To this end, we have now created a digital tool that is also unique. On our new website, everyone can select the right veneer with their desired properties in the online veneer library. Depending on color, drawing and structure ideas, the library suggests the possible variants," explains Tobias Scherg.
The whole process is also linked to the wood-based materials area. Because with the automated cutting system, the materials can be implemented in a time-saving and precise manner while optimizing waste and labeling according to the customer's data transmission. "Our offer of digital networking with our customers is heavily used. The carpenter and producer saves time and money through our service and, in addition, does not have to worry about the first production steps," explains Patrick Altherr.
