Jatobá and Eucalyptus figured veneer for Jacobs Heritage Store in Bremen

Wood is always unique. In order to find the right wood in each case, it needs the eye and the feeling for finding the suitable veneer. Roser AG performs this task, as demonstrated in the extensions to the new Johann Jacobs House in Bremen. The Swiss architects Miller and Maranta found what they were looking for in Roser's concept.room.

For the shop café, they chose Jatobá wood, which reflects Jacobs' connection to South America. Simple but effective are the finishes with the Jatobá veneer between the mineral materials of the rooms.

For the office and academy rooms on the upper floors, the architects opted for the warm brown shade of natural, figured eucalyptus wood. The figured wood of the eucalyptus tree creates an almost textile-like character in the academy rooms. The perfect implementation of the veneer work was carried out by the Bormann joinery.

Some say that the coffee simply tastes better in the ambience of the new Johann-Jacobs-Haus than elsewhere.
